Fuck yes! What an awesome sword. If this is legit this is the best goddamn thing that's happened to Bleach in years (apart from Nel's big reveal, of course).
Maybe Gin has his own ambitions for the hougyoku. Would explain why he chose to open a hole in Aizen's chest as opposed to anywhere else.
