Didn't even remember Sakuranbo Syndrome was 11 volumes. I'm guessing that's probably a good thing.

I can see Kono S o, Mi yo! going past volume 7, but really since the start the end game has always been Rin x Chizuru. That's the only happy ending IMO.

Spoiler: Now that the engagement has proven to be a shame on both parties can't see how Chizuru and the other doctor can go through with it. Then there's Makato who just has to sleep with Rin once and then they'll be back to normal. The mangaka can add a lot more drama to it and bam it's already at 10 volumes.
