I think it's mainly just the people who became fans of Anew over the last two episodes are getting the sense that Revive doesn't really care about his "sister", and thus are getting real hostile real fast.
Though I dunno, personally, I feel like it wouldn't be such a bad idea. We're almost 3/4ths of the way though the series, about time they started getting rid of some more antagonists.
