Waven I think the too things you mentioned (monster blood and getting the beating of his lifetime) are related to each other, since if you remember at the end of his fight Hokuto has lost consciousness and he only recovered after getting another injection of blood from Kiria.


So thinking about it more deeply I think the reason why Hokuto might need a wheelchair is the side effect of getting that last injection (which we are aware off, of course) into his system ... which might mean that something similar might occur if Tsukune got some amount of Moka's blood injected into his system in Tsukune's current condition.
