I'm just wondering how many people are actually familiar with the original Magical Kanan game and OAV.

Technically it's not. Nanoha A's is the sequel to Nanoha Season 1, which is a spin-off of the Triangle Heart OAV which Nanoha is in for like 5 minutes, which is
then based off of the Triangle Hearts H-game.
The aforementioned h-game does have naked pictures of Nanoha, though.
