DUDE! I just saw that there was a Nisemonogatari Anime Complete Guidebook and that there are short stories in it too. Why has there not been any summaries of the short stories yet?!

I have the book but the only story I've read yet is Hitagi Neck.

Spoiler for HN:

- It's about the day when Koyomi took Hitagi to introduce her to Fire Sisters. It's mostly a very cheerful dialogue between Hitagi and Araragi (whom she now calls Koyo-koyo, much to his horror).
- Hitagi is very glad that she's getting introduced as she feels she's going to be officially accepted.
- She also uses sentence endings like ~da mon which are contrasted with her usual ladylike ~wa yo.
- Araragi comments that the sisters are in a hostile mood towards Hitagi and permits her to use the stationery to defend herself, but she declines.
- Hitagi muses about how if she had a little sister, perhaps her family wouldn't break up.
- Araragi feels that being able to spend your days in simple ways like that is valuable to Senjougahara.
- Araragi has never met Sisters' boyfriends because he's purposefully evading meeting them.
- There are three neck-related puns and the punchline is that it was considered unhonorable for a samurai not to wash his neck before having it cut on an execution.
- The story ends as they come up to Araragi's place.

I might consider scanning the pages at a later date.
