I do see some people in the episode thread making that conclusion, but not many. This could be because the different discussions going on.
I wonder how they are going to react when it is revealed how Eren transforms in to a titan and when he is taken down by the other titans. Some people think having a titan as an ally will remove the suspense from the battles. Seeing them react to the realization how weak Eren actually is when he is alone and in titan form will be interesting to see.
