1.) DVD+Blueray sales indicate that it is very successful and popular.
2.) Well, thatīs the big question, isnīt it? The normal number of episodes for a season is 25. However, there are some indications floating around that it might be 28.
Then there is the thing that there is so much possible plot left to cover, that a lot of people expect some sort of extension or second season.
Lastly, we had a magazine article which had the seiyuu for Alto saying that the love triangle would end with a surprise. My personal thoughts on that are that the surprise is a second season. ^^ Only a gut feeling, because, as I said, thereīs tons of plot still having to be covered, and we are very far already into the series.
