Yin, according to him, looks very much dead. In the interview he also says that all the questions that were needed to be answered were already resolved, and that there will probably be no season three.

For people more knowledgeable with Japanese there's a scan here. I hope it's a fake or it's just a joke, but I guess I have to rewatch the second season again.

The way Okamura says she "seems" to be dead and Hei "seems" to be alive is a bit ambiguous. He isn't saying for sure. But that is apparently how he thinks of it at the moment.

He does say clearly that this is the end, however. He says he let everything about the setting come out.

And here's something pretty interesting about Yin and the OVA series:

Okamura: "Please enjoy the OVA series, which is about a 'love-love honeymoon journey with Yin.' What happens to Yin afterward will come out gradually. There wasn't much Hei action in the second TV series, but there is a bit more in the OVA."
