Spoiler for Highschool Dungeons and Dragons 07 - Pawn no Tsukaima F(-Cup):
The more time I save for myself in these wee hours of the morning now, the more I can focus on Symphogear tomorrow. On that note, the F Cup is the most revered of all the tennis cups.
Having come fresh off the game in my avatar and its Kendama, it goes without saying that I am overly accepting of the idea of animal partners. Familiars, spirits, Pokemon, call them what you want. I want to see them. And they often reflect something about their owners.
This episode reminded me of Maken-Ki!, largely in content. The well established group of main characters are visited by a more powerful group who busts in on their territory, leading to sports contests that utilize superpowers in ways usually reserved for busting evil. Maken had its volleyball episode, and DxD's was here, but its pool episode hasn't arrived yet.
The eyecatches appear to have fully transitioned from overwear to underwear. And on this day, several more hard drives were filled.
The second half of the episode went from Maken-Ki to a really bizarre parody of Pokemon. I know people make jokes about Satoshi/Ash growing up despite not growing up, and this was.... that, exactly. A walking version of that joke. And with more fanservice, of course. Most Pokemon don't have clothes-damaging slime. (And those that might are poison-type, not dragon-type. Yeesh.)
Regardless, Asia was the one who caught the little dragon. Which is apparently Dragon/Electric (cool, it's the same combination as Zekrom), if its attacks are anything to go by. So she should avoid ice-types, earth-users and other dragons.
I've also been playing White version lately. Does it show?
