And yes, I totally understand what you're saying. I'll try putting rounded ears and a tail on her. I'm not sure about whiskers, but I'll see how it turns out. I didn't mean to make her look as old as I did, unfortunately I wanted her to look much younger. As for her long ponytail, I quite like that my self. For a character that teaches a powerful sword technique I thought it'd be good to give her a ponytail, because if she had her hair down all the way I'm sure it'd get in the way of the sword.
I might as well explain the reason for her running across the sword, huh.
Well, when Okami receives the sword as a weapon she can set it to either sub or main. Either way, in rests on her back while being about twice as long as she is. When it's placed as the sub-weapon and you attack, Ammy stands on top of it while momentarily floating in the air. She then comes crashing down on the enemy with full force.
Also I wanna say that, since I've sorta learned to vector images, I might acually be able to color some of my art "vector-style". I'll have to see how it works out.
