Looks like seasons 1, 2 and the movie of Shakugan no Shana will finally receive blu-ray releases in Japan. No word yet on whether they'll be upscales or not but it wouldn't surprise me if the first season was an upscale, though I hope the 2nd season and the movie were at least animated at 720p or higher.

Being the Shana collector I am, I'll probably double dip again for this franchise having done it for Kara no Kyoukai a few months earlier (the other franchise I like to collect a lot on).
I wonder if these recent announcements of BD releases for the Shana franchise is leading up to an official announcement for season 3 since the BD box for the 2nd season will be released in September...
