There isn't much to translate unfortunately. The producer apologizes for not letting people know in advance that there was no new update. He then goes on to say that they've been working hard at nailing down elements of how to adapt the main character from the game into an anime, and what his name should be, and so on. It seems they're only nearing the end of pre-production from the way he talks about it. He tells fans to look forward to the time when they can actually share some information, but he doesn't say anything conclusive.
Based on how bad this PR campaign has been going, I think they probably announced it a bit too early, and might have run into production issues.
