I'd like to say that 2nd origin is just THAT strong. Don't forget, Lucy was about to pull hax magic too, but as always magic nullification is on another level...Kana also activated Fairy Glitter properly this time, so it's not too hard to imagine Natsu being strong enough to handle the ST duo.
