2. was still lost and trying to figure what make himself tick.
1. he might have decided to either adopt Shirou in attempt to try to feel something.
2. if Kotomine had bought Caren with him to Japan. She and Shirou might have meet and decided to get married. Shirou for whatever reason decided to take Kotomine's family name.
