To fight seriously against any opponent other than another vampire (or a ghoul of your own making) could possibly be considered as 'demening' to them. Having one of the legendary S-class monsters - a vampire - take you seriously in a fight could be their form of highest praise.

That's why we need more Vampire fights and more bloodshed and push the plot more.
