So for the moonspeakers, does our MC ever invent something or is it more recreation of existing ideas, weapons, machines, etc? I read over chapter 1 and decided I'd continue, but starting to have second thoughts.
On one hand, I'm okay with the MC not being a hax powerhouse by any means. However from the discussion so far it seems the novel has a habit of going too deeply into slice of life to the point it becomes a slab of life?
Unrelated, but how badly/decently is the MC treated by his owners? Same level as the bullies did, better, worse, other?
