Hmmm yeah, but you have to admit, Itachi felt more comfortable fighting Kakashi than he did fighting against Gai.
The thing is we have seen a lot of Kakashi and very little of Gai, but yet he still comes across as a very strong candidate.
I only hope to see more of Gai fighting, even if it is only TaiJutsu, I think he has proven It to be a worthy form of combat against even the mightiest of foes, don’t you?
