In the novel, IIRC, Nanoha exhausted all her magic power after using SLB and nearly fell into the sea. Ironically, unlike in the anime, it's Fate who did the rescuing.

Does that mean the outcome of that final duel is different from the novel or did Nanoha and Fate have another duel after that showdown in season one?
