This show is still not particularly scary or creepy, more like a mystery, which works for me. I got a laugh out of Kouichi just bluntly asking Mei what happened to her eye. He barely knows her, it's like meeting a legless guy and blurting out "Nice to meet you, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LEGS!?" And the nurse was pretty free with the info on someone dying that day, I guess patient confidentiality is not a big deal.
BTW, looks like Sentai licensed Another including Blu-ray rights.
