I'm thinking he probably made the first asauchis (sp?) that the zanpakto spirits may inhabit - did you ever think about why sealed swords generally look so SIMILAR to each other - they don't change the
basic sword shape very much at all. Perhaps, basic swords have, maybe, 2 major shapes - Katana and dagger.

Hmmm, how about the location, examination, domestication, and use of the
Hell Butterfly. I means, those things escort konso'ed souls to Soul Society, Shinigami to and from there through authorized gates, and take messages while within Soul Society. Seems like a very well used, very common Shinigami thing... but you have to know what you are doing!
