On the final page of the chapter, when the shadowy guy is using his Gigantism fragment or whatever to make him super large, it doesn't appear he has a mustache. Gido's always had a bushy mustache that's covered part of his mouth and, the way the smile appears, it doesn't look like there's any bushy mustache there (otherwise, it'd cover the corners of his smile). Doesn't mean it isn't him nor could it be a feint by Imai Kami but that's just something missing from this villain.

Also, when looking at that pic one more time, that bit of light in the middle of his forehead is likely a byakugou or something. Guess that'd explain why he'd have multiple fragments like Cruz's Shield of Aegis and the Gigantism one (among others).

I think like the cocoon we're thinking too much into this. I don't know if it's Gido. I doubt it because of the different clothes. If it's true in that he was able to reverse his aging, then he simply could have de-aged to a point where his mustache hadn't grown. Could be him or since Seto recognizes him someone from her past. We don't really know much about her other than the fact she works for a guild and was partnered with Blade once upon a time. He kind of looks like one of Kana's sevants the way he's dressed, but what would he be doing there.

Also about Shield of Aegis, the explanation about it is so vague. Anyone can who does something similar can be said to have it. Also, even with Byakugou, Blade couldn't learn it. I doubt this guy has it.

I don't think that's the crystal he has in his forehead (looks more like a diversion), and his bulked up body must be a product of Eden Seed + something else.

But anyway, considering Seth is shocked upon seeing his face, there should be almost any doubt that the big guy standing before her is a enhanced, rejuvenated Gido.

He being so young and bulky now is most likely a result of the fragment he acquired.

But man, who else here wishes it was October already? I can't wait.

Who knows? I don't think Seto really had such a strong bond with Gido to elicit such a shock, kind of like with Teruyama.

This goes along with what I said earlier that the explanation of Cruz's fragment is very vague. Other needless doing the same thing can be said to have it. Shield of Aegis is the ability to block attacks from the direction he hold his hand. Notice in chapter 102 when they are fighting the Aruka clones and Testamenko-chans, Cruz was able to block the Agnishiwattas, but not the missles. Blade saved him from one and another one hit him on his left side. During the battle with Riru, he could even prevent pyschokinesis from affecting him, and saved Eve from her heart attack caused by it. From this, it seems Cruz's ability only affects fragments.

Why not? Why is there no "making you giant" fragment? It's certainly possible considering the number of fragments we've seen and how many more there could be. And given how powerful it might be, now's about the perfect time to have someone with such a fragment to fight two to four opponents.

That and I'm not quite so certain it's just a trick to make Shadow Gido look more imposing or frightening. Take a look at the two pages back to back:

Two things are apparent. One, there is a massive difference in size between these consecutive pages. If it were just a trick using angles and proportions, then we probably would've seen Shadow Gido walk up to Seto in order for that to work. However, when we last see him, he's standing still at the base of the staircase with Ishiyama with an aura around him, like he's powering up or using his Fragment. The other page shows him gigantic, aided by the perspective of Seto and with the angle of the ceiling and walls. Not only that but he still has that aura around him like he's powering up. If this is merely angle/perspective, then what's with that aura around him?

I'm not saying for certain that it is but there's enough evidence to suggest it. And considering the placement in the story, now would be an awesome time to reveal such a Fragment, especially if we're going to watch Seto and Solva fight again.

Exactly, I remember Volos hair fragment. Really a fragment to increase size is not above the realm of impossibility.

Anyway this is turningout much different from the Simeon arc where most of it took place in one room, but rather many things are happening all at one in different areas. Looks to be exciting. The wait time will be killer though.

If we take that example with Setsuna, it is entirely possible their personalities and will affect which area of the brain is unlocked and fragment to awaken. If so, there may be fragments now that the Second Christ did not posses, such as Volos' snake hair or Kana's over technology.

I always was puzzled with Arclight's analogy with the jewel box for the Second Christ and his powers. It may be possible that the Second Christ possessed the twelve stigmata initially that with them everthing is possible, but we have seen a variety of other fragments. Some would appear impossible or pointless for him to have, such as Disk's scan, the ability to discern other fragments. There are even manmade fragments, such as zero and doppleganger. If Arclight truly wishes to reclaim every last lost jewel, the needless hunt could continue indefintely with new fragments being discovered.
