I actually do think it was because she wanted to appear that way to see if she could have defeated Teresa as a normal Warrior.

Thats true but Dae was pretty confident about their power levels, so there is nothing said that means that they would be weaker than the old AOs. And i bet Hysteria would make a pretty damn powerful AB.
