All Stars New Stage 2 is out, sort of...

Goodness. It wasn't as awful as New Stage, but it wasn't good either. I think there's something wrong when basically DokiDoki show up around mid movie, and the Precure in general aren't really shown until the end. The voice acting issues continue to appear, though they managed to have Nagisa, Honoka and Hikari speak a couple lines this time. The animation was decent, but not particularly groundbreaking.
What's troubling, considering it's a movie aimed at children, was the pacing: certain sequences lasted too long and in a couple cases I felt something happened just to waste a few minutes.
Toei needs to abandon the All Stars movies like they're now. They're not good (DX1 was, and DX3 mostly for its "slugfest"-like nature). THey should take the Sentai / Kamen Rider regarding crossover movies.

Yeah, probably intentional considering the director worked on Sailor Moon before. And seems to have improved from SuperS thankfully.

Goodness gracious, he worked on that? Probably the lowest point of the entire franchise.
