Actually, "Himemiya" can translate to 'The Princess/The Royality'(I think) - and "Miya-sama" means "A Princess" (Again, I think). Both Anthy and Chikane could be related to one another, but Himemiya is a very popular name for 'royality' like characters. It's possible that KAISHAKU took points from Utena (Which was "The Flagship Girls' Love Series" before Kannazuki came along), but I kinda doubt it.
Roses are symbols of romance - and are often associated with fairytales. What comes to mind when one thinks of fairytales? Princes!
So yeah, it's possible they took a leaaf or three out of Saito Chiho's book - but I personally kinda dount it.
