I think that also Haruhi could be tagged as a "loner" with her attitude and "gifts" that sets her apart from others. The
Loners are Freaks trope kinda fits her IMHO.
And with the experiences of the
SOS Brigade she shares in, she gradually loses those loner tendencies (we hope!).
