Actually, I thought it was
obvious that he was, as Mentar wants, going through lots of stress. He was clearly showing that he was losing control of what was going on and getting confused over stuff, like Misaki's feelings. I mean, what do you think it meant when he went from denying Yayoi to just... not feeling anything? And recently, he has just become confusing to follow...
