Great episode, Re:Zero did it again!
This time we were able to see a better Subaru, someone who don't mess up his chances and literally thinks about the current situation. The negotiation felt a bit short and rushed but still have the necessary impact showing how Subaru developed as MC after all what happened to him in the previous episodes, he's not screaming around with killing intent anymore, now he really knows how to play his cards.
It is amazing how well done was this adaptation, showing how Subaru evolved from scratch to being a really good MC, I wish more stories and series take this way to develop their characters, honestly at this point there is no doubt at all, Re:zero is the AOTY.
Good thing that we now have more of Wilhelm's past, which helps to understand why he wants to kill the White Whale and that's for revenge against it for his waifu's death.
Now the best part begins! the battle against the White Whale, cant wait for the next episode.
