(I find the allegories to Fordism in the book interesting, at the time Mass Production was still largely restricted the United States, and everyone else considered it a very dehumanizing process, robbing manufacture of any form of "craftsmanship". BNW is largely an extension of Mass Production principles to an absurd degree, except not only are products and parts standardized, but also the workers, who are themselves mass produced.)
