I don't get it.

With the Titans focused on Eren who was carrying the boulder the elite squads had a clear line of sight to the Titan's napes. They could easily do what Mikasa and Levi did and just grapple onto them from behind and sliced them. Why did they even got down there to attract their attention?

What Mitabi's squad did they could've easily have taken out 2-3 of the Titans right there.

To me it seemed unnecessary.

And this episode seemed to be a mess. One second Jean is about to be eaten and then we get a still of Annie for like a few seconds and so forth. That or my computer was messed up.
