Well i'm not the type who cares if he get's spoiled , as long as i know how most things goes. It's not like i'll ever find those novels translated here in a bookstore so my only source is asking in different threads for spoilerstuff XD.

Like WTF, you told that she was fond of him but to go as far as wanting him to win. What kind of vampire is that? Was she tired of being immortal or was it because she fell in love with him? That's one hell of a spoiler you gave away

She does it for a number of reasons. There are several causes of death for vampires and one of them is boredom. She's been alive for 500 years so things are bound to get tedious. Her original reason for coming to Japan was to find a place to die.

Another reason is that Koyomi was willing to throw his life away to save Kiss-Shot when they first met. If you go pause the scene of Kiss-Shot sitting under the streetlight in ep 1 you'll notice that she is missing her arms and legs. She had just fought the three hunters and they used some kind of ritual to prevent the severed limbs from disintegrating. To regenerate, the parts that she loses have to disintegrate first. Even though she came to Japan to die, she became terrified of just disappearing when she was on the verge of death and begged for Koyomi to save her. This was one of the most moving scenes in the Bakemonogatari series btw.

Koyomi became a vampire because Kiss-Shot wanted to him to be one. As a rule, vampires rarely create new members of their kind and Kiss-Shot is especially well known for not making any. Koyomi's immediate response to becoming a vampire was that he wanted to return to being a human so Kiss-Shot promised to help him do so once she got all her sealed limbs back. Koyomi was the second vampire that she created. The first was a samurai that she met 400 years ago. They were together for a few years before that samurai couldn't take it anymore and asked to return to being human, but Kiss-Shot wouldn't honor his request so the samurai committed suicide. The only way for him to become human again was for Kiss-Shot to sacrifice herself. So helping Koyomi become human again was a way for her to make up for her past mistake.
