If you think about, the cracks and deviations in Aleister's plans were inevitable. For a man who judges things on efficiency and fails to understand the psyche of others, it's impossible to foresee the actions of individuals and their motivations. Take Hamazura, for example. Aleister consistently predicted that he would die under multiple circumstance yet he's still alive. Aleister's forgotten the miracles humans can achieve through their emotions.
