The teaser is very amateurish...but not for the reasons Tetra laments. Specifically, the teaser is lazy and substitutes suspense for needless platitudes. Gary Oldman lying on the bad whining/lamenting the loss of Batman as evil rises is really quite silly....
And Bane...well the future trailers need to emphasize Bane better, because, honestly, besides comic fans, there is no reason for an audience to care about this character. Batman Begins can get away with largely unknown villains simply because it is the origin film, but Bane has nowhere near the press or acclaim that the A-List Joker has (even if Bane is ostensibly an equal foe to the Joker). So, we need to care, or more realistically we need to fear, and the teaser simply does not deliver.
(It certainly doesn't help that much of the teaser is images and dialogue from the first 2 films.)
Overall, this felt more like a fanmade trailer than a real teaser. (The promotional poster was a 100x more effective.) We'll get better teasers and trailer later, but this is an inauspicious start...
That being said, whilst a bad teaser, i do still have massive hope for the film, and am more than eager to see it on its release next year.
