Its not gender bender thing (though I dislike those too), its the such a complete and utter patheticness of the character.
He looked so pathetic that I think if aunt would have told him to suck that guys thing or take it up his ass he would have went with it - thats how pathetic and desperate he looked.
This manga should have been a gradual growth of character but instead he is still dominated by others, now even harder than before, and instead of progressing his character is regressing.
