QFT, when you're reading bleach, you shouldn't sweat the small stuff. There are TOO many questions that go unanswered, even concerning the very basis of how the soul system works in the story...buuuut it doesn't really matter, because it's highly unlikely to be addressed, especially since this is the final arc of the manga.
