There is a thread on 2channel that lists new ups to PD and their respective hashes, but only for Blu-ray. There could (and probably is) be one for DVD releases as well, but in general crap hits share first, or even winny sometimes still. Utatane has a bunch of crap as well.
No idea how PD's keywording works exactly, but my list frequently deletes small amounts of cache to refresh for the latest things, and I find things fairly quickly after they show up.
