That's exactly what I was going to recommend after reading the first post, especially since she liked
Minami-ke. Minami Kana is Miu's older version after all
And considering her tastes, I'd say
Hidamari Sketch and
Sketchbook are the best recommendations here. Also seconding
Dennou coil. Twelve Kingdoms is amazing, but I'm not sure it will suit her tastes. Still, it might be good to broaden her horizons.
As for something that wasn't recommended yet: how about
