I found that mangacorp / manga entertainment, did a great job dubbing most of their releases!

StreetFighter 2V is a great example of how the american voices are 10x better than the jap voicings, like how the giant Sagat's voice sounds much deeper and harder, than for instance the average sized Guile; And how the women voices don't sound like all from the same voice actor.

Manga Entertainment was about the first and foremost of dubbers out there.

Good series I found where the abandoned series of "Starship Troopers", and the famous Street fighter series, Akira, Blue Gender, Tokyo Babylon, just about everything on the manga website goes for me.

Pioneer also did some great dubs on laserdisc anime; just too bad that they all where in tiny resolution and all in super wide screen.
