Also, I don't really mind that the author is trying to make the side characters more popular, most likely in his future works our female heroines would get bigger roles.

BTW, the wincest isn't just limited to Koyomi and his sisters. At the last chapter of Nise 1 we see that Karen and Tsukihi were sleeping together NAKED!!!! Supposedly, you heal faster from a fever if you do it.
