Hey there Triple R. I'm glad to see you back with another update which I'm a week late for noticing. Which is weird because my user cp or email never notified me about this update, and I've faithfully subscribed and followed this thread a year ago. Anyway... Yo! It's back! The Mami romance route is back! Yes! After months of waiting and slowly but surely losing hope of its return, it finally came back. 
After reading the Different Story a few weeks ago and coming to love and know Mami, my favourite Magical Girl in new and interesting ways, I'm psyched and ready to go. As usual, I have ClariS playing because they're awesome! 
Please note: I'm not comfortable with my words so bear with me as I write this. I really took time to review this. So let's get this party started! Let's rock!

Another day of the Magica life with Mami and Sayaka. It's also refreshing, and not surprise, to see Sayaka enthusiastic about Mami being an idol and a potential third ClariS member. Which of course she's get no doubt.
Anyway. Back on topic

It was really nice in this update to see the character step into a unique part Mitakihara Town right to some interesting and cryptic part of the area. Especially since the area once belonged to the great and really interesting Ushiromiya family... that's really... something. I guess the Golden Witch's influence really can leave a mark across time or a universe. Her legacy just can't be put to rest can't it? 
I truly enjoyed the way you described the fight scenes and also the cryptic atmosphere that both Umineko and Madoka portray at good points. They were really intense and strange since they're familiars but they had that horror evil feel similar to said series, which made them pretty nervous but at the same time fascinated with abnormal set of enemies they've faced.
Spoiler for Tearing Down Universal Barriers:
Quite an interesting turn of events for this one, since Kyousuke appeared out of nowhere and saved the day, and the girl(s). Can I ask; Is the power that Kyousuke similar to a certain black spiky haired teen with a powerful supernatural canceling right hand, and in turn has the same surname as said character? If so, nice spin on that and the timing and how it was initiated was interesting and unique. Poor Mami, after seeing Sayaka and her boyfriend get romantic, she longs for the same treatment. Poor Mami, you'll get some love soon, hopefully! 
Might I say, I really liked the buddy buddy interactions between Sayaka and Mami, really made the whole update shine the most for me. To me, as huge Mami and a Sayaka fan (Mami being my favourite with Sayaka coming second), shows how much they trust, rely, and support each other as teacher x student, master to apprentice, senior to junior etc. Plus the jokes and humor they shared back and forth were pretty cool.
I also liked how you showed Mami's blissfulness to be with someone who trust and rely on her, as well, and to me as a huge Mami fan, you emphasized that well. I also want to praise you for putting in Mami's insecurities that she hide and shows in tough and stressful situations and what could be expected from that. So great work on that. You really have done your Mami homework, as usual. Being the biggest Mami fan ever, all I can say is, truly impressive!

The Umineko atmosphere added with Mami's development regarding her insecurities and emotional depth really made the update a blast to read. It truly worked out for me since I read and enjoyed a Different Story long to long ago. I'm going to give you a score of 9/10. Excellent work, you've earned it. Oh yes, the soundtracks for the update were amazing too.
The Ghostbusters nod was really amusing. I was laughing at that for two whole minutes.
Spoiler for Cons:
No Mami x Madoka moments in this update. 
Which upsets me, but it is understandable considering the circumstances of the way the update was written. This is my #1/favourite pairing after all, and I'm sure you know that.
Oh yes, the way Mami said "bold beautifully blossoming love affair with Madoka." really sounded like she's cheating or having an affair with someone else. I don't know it's that's the case, but the way you wrote it really just didn't sit well with me. Especially since I've read a Different Story.
