He said that he's exhausted, then they talk, which will result in him taking a nap after his brain overheats of thinking about the situation.
That Onodera look can go either way, it can be some kind of yanderish or it can just be one of the random faces author put in the chapters. If this manga didn't have such vivid face expressions then I would take more meaning to it, however as it stands now it doesn't need to mean anything.
