I am PJBleakney and I live in Massachusetts and am a fan of Yamato/Starblazers, Gatchaman, (Battle of the Planets) and Force Five (sorry I don't remember what the old school name of it is) but my loyalty goes back to the 1970s as a kid watching Starblazers, over and over again. My loyalty faded as I grew up, but with the wonders of the internet I am now in touch with a wider audience of my love of these anime. I stumbled on this site by doing a search about the New Yamato 2199 and a story line I saw.
