Actually, I wonder if Miyako would actually come along and Keima proceeds to stuff Chihiro under his blanket too - potentially driving Miyako as the last vessel, and setting up a huge misunderstanding flag between Chihiro and Ayumi as they fight for his fire truck attention.

What are you talking about? If it's anyone then Yui obviously the BEST one to be hiding under his blanket. Especially as second or third person.
Even though she might act masculine she is still a teenage girl who was a 'pure-hearted young lady' until recently. The difference between those two states (whatever that's called) makes predication of her behavior pretty much impossible and that makes it much more fun to anticipate.
