Of course, you do realize that means the death of Fate-chan as well, right? Better leave out the -chan from now on whenever you write a name.
In my opinion, it's not that bad. Personal preference, but sometimes a japanese terms conveys the character better then an English term. Like Signum's 'Ah' for example.
