I swear to God this show is just getting the dumber and dumber.

I get that the media is fucked up enough to blame it all on the guy that saves everyone (even though they didn't really explain that properly) but being a dick to the mourning brother? Do they even have souls?
The whole scene with Aria and her mom was ridiculously melodramatic.
Kinji going into hysteria mode by being turned on is equally ridiculous.
Kinji somehow deducing that Aria was in danger purely by being on a plane was also ridiculous.
Kinji not getting straight to the point with Aria when it was obvious the BK could hijack the plane was completely facepalm-worthy
How the hell are they allowed guns on a plane?
How the hell is it a good idea to USE guns on an airbourne plane?
Why did Riko feel the need to tell her life story like that?
And her Keikaku-dori is extremely circumspect.
And what's this crap about Holmes and Lupin? This world is set in place where Sherlock Holmes and Lupin were real?
And how is it that Kinji had enough time to scream Aria's name and not enough time to prevent Riko shooting Aria?
