As MT related crimes go up with little in the way of stopping the terrorists. Ravens are hired to "keep the peace". And Magi, presumably the "Last Raven" left, fights to protect those who he know, signed a contract for IS Academy. Effectively making himself a defender of this world.

The IS society has put men in a terrible social position, some say the AC can be an equal to an IS, but no one has been willing to pit it in a real fight yet and isn't anytime soon. So it gives off a terrifying prescence, a sleeping giant. And Magi, the sleeping giant of crest Enjoys life in the IS Academy as a "king".
