That wasn't even simultaneous, Jennings had the ball with both arms wrapped around it on the ground, then Tate ripped it away. The back judge even signaled touchback. I don't get, with replay, how you blow that call.
From the rulebook:
"It's not a simultaneous catch if a player gains control first & and the opponent subsequently gains joint control." <---That's exactly what happened.
