Chihaya was real, heartstringy, and they dropped enough hints for us to at least know something big was up, then followed through just as much.
And tied it up with a ribbon like it should, without excessive grit.
Haruka arc is well, just, well,
goddamn Haruka. She's so positive that it takes a literal train wreck to knock her off-center (ironically, for this klutz), which she then cheers
herself up by
warping the fabric of reality itself!
Now
that's the power of an iDOL.
That's how you end a series with a super-positive center, not Love Live! which went for a real forced character changing ending. I won't deny that the Maki was good, but that ending just left a bad taste in my mouth.
