Short answer: Anything but that.
"Long answer": any feature based on post count is definitely giving a huge tendency for multiple post spree, often pointless, which would clutter the forums and lead to even more workload.
The main point in this change is to drop the aforementioned trends, and encourage actual discussion and exchanges instead. There is no need for substitution as of now.
