Puck used to be human, he requested to be turn into an artificial spirit for the sake of Emilia (EMT wasn't born yet), before he become a spirit Puck has the same speech mannerism as Subaru..

In one of Emilia's future visions, Subaru(we ain't so sure about this yet, but its very likely because of the speech mannerism) says he hates her and wish they have never met in the first place, Emilia cried after hearing his words.. (there"s more visions can someone post them ?)
